Peter Pfister of The Curchin Group Speaks at Monmouth County Association of Realtors

RED BANK, New Jersey (April 28, 2008) – The Curchin Group, a mid-sized, full-service accounting firm based in Red Bank, New Jersey, announced today that Partner Peter Pfister, CPA, spoke at the Commercial Real Estate Seminar, held by the Monmouth County Association of Realtors, Inc. (“MCAR”), on Friday, April 18, 2008 at their headquarters in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.  Serving as part of a panel for the program, “Commercial Real Estate for Dummies,” Pfister spoke on the “1031 Process,” which allows real estate investors to immediately invest accumulated property value into another property without paying capital gains tax in the interim.

Pfister, who serves as Tax Partner for The Curchin Group, and Co-Partner-in-Charge for the Firm’s tax committee, has over 25 years in public accounting.  He specializes in providing tax planning & compliance, retirement planning and accounting services to small and mid-size closely-held businesses.
